Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee and coordinate complex infrastructure and construction projects within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of project delivery, from initial planning through execution and completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of construction management practices, regulatory compliance, and project scheduling to lead teams effectively and deliver high-quality results. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Duties Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation utilizing project management software such as Primavera P6 or Procore. Coordinate construction schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion while managing project timelines using construction scheduling tools. Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, blueprints, and specifications, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Manage project budgets by tracking costs, analyzing variances, and implementing cost control measures using construction cost management software like HeavyBid or Prolog. Lead cross-functional teams on-site and off-site, facilitating effective communication among contractors, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Ensure adherence to safety standards and construction regulations throughout all phases of the project. Review contracts, change orders, and procurement documents to mitigate risks and maintain contractual compliance. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality standards and progress; address issues proactively to minimize delays. Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and milestones for executive review. Manage project documentation including construction plans, regulatory permits, and progress reports with tools such as Bluebeam or Civil 3D. Facilitate project meetings to align team objectives and resolve any emerging challenges efficiently. Ensure proper management of project schedules by coordinating activities across multiple teams using Primavera P6 or similar tools. Maintain strict control over project costs by tracking expenditures against budgets with detailed reporting. Skills Extensive experience with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost management practices. Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure projects within strict deadlines and budgets. Deep understanding of construction scheduling principles and project coordination methodologies. Excellent leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with construction regulations, safety standards, blueprint reading, contracts administration, and regulatory compliance. Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in documentation and reporting. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams. Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently through excellent time management practices. Demonstrated experience in managing construction budgets while maintaining quality standards.
