- What You'll Be Doing
Job Scope:
- As a Project Manager, you are the driving force behind every phase of a capital project.
- Relocation to the Kingsport, TN area is available for candidate who qualify.
- Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Manage Capital Projects:
Oversee all phases of capital projects and studies, ensuring they meet schedules, budgets, and customer requirements. +Resource Coordination:
Secure and manage resources for project implementation, from concept to start-up, direct the development of necessary engineering documents, and ensure involvement of appropriate personnel from Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, and Maintenance (EPCOM). +Project Monitoring and Reporting:
Collaborate with Project Controls to track progress, report deviations, and communicate future work projections. +Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work with various organizations to develop and implement project execution strategies and ensure compliance with contractor agreements. +Strategic Planning and Evaluation:
Develop annual capital plans, manage expenditures, and evaluate project performance, promoting best-value practices and continuous improvement. +Risk Management:
Regularly evaluates & mitigates issues that create project risk to meeting project objectives. Proactively anticipates those issues and develops mitigation plans. - Ideal Background
Education:
- Minimum of a BA or BS degree (Engineering preferred)
Certification:
- Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred.
Experience:
- This position requires 5 years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- + 5 years' experience in various aspects of the Engineering, procurement and Construction (EPC) process or appropriate comparable experience.
Physical Requirements:
- + Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
