Job Description:

Project Manager - Heavy Industrial Fabrication Chattanooga, TN Project Manager needed for a growing custom manufacturing and welding company in the Chattanooga area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced fabrication professional who enjoys managing projects from concept through completion in a hands-on industrial environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in steel and aluminum fabrication, estimating, material planning, and customer project management. The company specializes in heavy industrial fabrication and is looking for a leader who can work closely with customers, production, and operations to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

Responsibilities:

• Review customer drawings and project specifications
• Prepare project estimates and quotations
• Manage projects from planning through production and final shipment
• Coordinate material flow, inventory, and production scheduling
• Develop and maintain BOMs and project documentation
• Work closely with fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly teams
• Monitor timelines, costs, and overall project execution
• Ensure customer expectations and quality standards are met

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within steel and aluminum fabrication/manufacturing
• Strong understanding of mechanical fabrication, metal cutting, and assembly processes
• Experience with estimating and project costing
• Knowledge of BOMs, inventory control, and material planning
• AutoCAD experience required
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree highly preferred
