Field-based Pay:

$80,000.00 per year, with 5%, 7.5%, and 10% salary bonus based on performance.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Loy's Pools & Patios is hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead residential pool and outdoor-living projects from pre-construction through completion. This is a hands-on field leadership position—not a desk-only project coordinator role. You will manage multiple active projects, coordinate crews and subcontractors, communicate with homeowners, oversee schedules and inspections, and keep construction moving. We need someone who understands how projects are built, recognizes problems before they become expensive, and follows through without constant supervision. Direct pool-construction experience is strongly preferred. We will also consider experienced construction project managers and superintendents with backgrounds in residential construction, excavation, concrete, hardscape, site development, or outdoor-living construction.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Manage multiple residential pool and outdoor-living projects from pre-construction through completion. Conduct pre-construction meetings and walk homeowners through the project layout and construction sequence. Review construction plans, measurements, elevations, drainage, utilities, access routes, and site conditions before work begins. Verify project layout, zero points, and finished elevations. Coordinate excavation, pool setting, plumbing, electrical, concrete, retaining walls, pavers, landscaping, and specialty trades. Lead and coordinate field crews and subcontractors, setting clear daily expectations and following up on progress. Plan material deliveries, equipment movements, trucking, dirt removal, and material staging. Schedule required inspections and verify that work is ready before inspectors arrive. Monitor workmanship, jobsite organization, cleanliness, and completion standards. Communicate schedules, upcoming milestones, delays, and decisions clearly to customers. Maintain accurate project notes, photos, schedules, and field updates. Coordinate with operations, procurement, logistics, sales/design, and office staff. CAREERS WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Before excavation begins, you know where the pool is going, what elevation controls the project, how equipment will enter, where materials will be staged, where dirt will go, and what utilities or hazards need protection. Your crews know what they are doing next. Materials and equipment are coordinated ahead of time. Inspections are scheduled before they become a bottleneck. Customers receive updates without having to chase you. When something changes, you evaluate the options, communicate the impact, and coordinate a solution. You make decisions within your authority and escalate issues that require approval. You do not need to have every answer immediately, but you must recognize when to ask questions before making an expensive assumption.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

At least 3 years of construction project-management, superintendent, or comparable field-leadership experience. Experience coordinating field crews and subcontractors. Strong understanding of construction sequencing and jobsite logistics. Ability to read construction plans, take accurate field measurements, and understand grades and elevations. Ability to organize and manage multiple active projects. Professional communication skills with customers, employees, subcontractors, and company leadership. Willingness to address quality issues, difficult conversations, and missed expectations directly. Comfort working outdoors and visiting active construction sites throughout the workday. Ability to use smartphones, tablets, email, project photos, and construction-management software. Valid driver's license and ability to travel between jobsites throughout the Maryville, Knoxville, and surrounding East Tennessee area.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Experience with fiberglass pools, excavation and grading, concrete, drainage, retaining walls, pavers, landscaping, or complete outdoor-living projects is especially valuable. Construction Project Manager Page 2LOY'S

This role is not a fit for someone whose experience is limited to administrative project coordination. You should be comfortable directing work, holding people accountable, managing competing priorities, and addressing problems in the field. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the outcome—not someone who only reports that a problem exists.

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

Full-time, primarily Monday-Friday. Early mornings, extended days, or schedule adjustments may occasionally be required based on construction activity, inspections, weather, deliveries, and project needs.

Pay:

$70,000-$95,000+ annually, depending on relevant experience, construction knowledge, and demonstrated leadership ability.
