Job Description
Essential Functions and Basic Duties Typical activities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Customer Relationships Attend all required sales meetings promptly and prepared. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Attend and actively participate in all required training sessions. Communicate professionally with customers when directed by the Project Manager. Assist with customer follow-up and help address routine project questions or concerns. Project Support Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager will: Work closely with the Project Manager, Custom Shop Manager, and installation subcontractors. Review job records, reports, and project costs to help monitor profitability. Assist with preparing project budgets and tracking expenditures against approved budgets. Help document pricing variations, change orders, and specification changes. Maintain accurate and current project records, schedules, and supporting documentation. Monitor project progress and promptly communicate potential delays, problems, or cost concerns to the Project Manager. Perform periodic project-site checks as assigned. Help verify that work meets applicable plans, specifications, and quality standards. Check project measurements against approved drawings and report discrepancies. Compare project progress with the established schedule and allotted labor time. Coordinate routine project information with subcontractors and internal departments. Assist the Project Manager with project closeout, including documentation, completion lists, and follow-up items. Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
