This entry-level position works closely with project and field teams to maintain accurate project information, monitor progress, and help keep projects on schedule. The ideal candidate is adaptable, eager to learn, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Responsibilities Assist with developing and updating construction project schedules and tracking key milestones. Gather daily and weekly progress updates from field supervisors, subcontractors, and project managers. Maintain accurate project tracking data and organized digital project records. Prepare project status reports and schedule updates using Microsoft Excel. Participate in project meetings, document action items, and assist with follow-up. Coordinate with field teams to monitor progress and communicate potential scheduling concerns. Review project data to identify trends, inconsistencies, or potential issues. Provide general planning and coordination support as project priorities change. Requirements & Qualifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with particular proficiency in Excel and the ability to create clear documents and presentations in Word and PowerPoint. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, project management, business administration, or a related field preferred. Basic familiarity with construction practices, terminology, blueprints, or construction plans preferred. Strong analytical, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with both office and field teams. Willingness to learn construction scheduling processes and company procedures. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and regularly use standard office equipment. Ability to walk and stand during construction site visits and navigate uneven surfaces and stairs. Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift or carry up to 25 pounds. May work in outdoor construction environments with varying weather, dust, noise, and active equipment. Must be able to wear required PPE when entering designated construction areas. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Pay:
$27.00 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 per week
