The Senior Project Manager leads the successful delivery of large-scale electrical infrastructure projects, including high-voltage substations and power systems. This role oversees projects from award through closeout, managing project execution, estimating, financial performance, client relationships, and project teams while ensuring safe, on-time, and profitable delivery.Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of large electrical infrastructure projects from award through closeout
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, procurement, and risk strategies
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, and financial performance
- Lead client meetings, contract negotiations, and project reviews
- Manage change orders, contract administration, and claims
- Mentor Project Managers and support team development
- Lead estimating for major electrical construction bids
- Review proposals and support bid strategy
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of project management experience in electrical construction or power infrastructure
- Experience delivering projects valued at $20M+
- Experience leading estimating for large electrical construction projects
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- PMP certification required
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems and substations
- Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar software
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
