ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide overall direction, completion and financial outcome of simultaneous complex cabling projects within various verticals Work with Operations Team and Safety Manager to provide appropriate PPE and Safety Ability to profitably manage large scale construction projects while consistently maintaining revenue of $7MM with strong margins Management and development of OPM I and OPM II Direct and supervise work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, etc. Enforce project reporting requirements Serve as escalation point regarding critical project issues Assume overall accountability for jobsite safety and quality Provide technical expertise to field team and project managers Forecast and track labor costs to maximize productivity and costs. Invoice projects quickly to maximize cash flow Utilize technology and project dashboards to track project milestones, timelines and profitability Approve and sign all material invoices and technician timesheets Generate and submit change order pricing for all items outside the approved original scope of work up to value $500k. Perform on-site inspections of local work locations at the start of the project, midpoint and completion Provide required documentation including 'as-built' drawings, cable certification reports and applicable warranties Develop new subcontractor relationships; strengthen existing relationships Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or equitable years' experience and industry certifications 10 years' in construction project management including 5 years' managing large scale construction projects Mastry of project methodology and process Create and manage annual goals of direct reports, supporting bi-annual reviews and opportunities to coach for success Proven success mentoring and managing junior talent to support their growth and project Proven success managing complex projects with strong project margins Strong MS office skills Proficiency with current technologies and low voltage products Industry and Manufacturer's Certification Experience creating change orders up to $500k The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions while working or reviewing customer work locations.
