full-time Position Summary The Associate Project Manager II at SpectrumVoIP is responsible for supporting the delivery of customer onboarding and implementation projects of moderate complexity and broader scope. This role independently coordinates cross-functional activities, manages timelines, and ensures successful delivery while proactively addressing risks and challenges. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong time management, and work ethic. This position will be located in our Plano, TX office. SpectrumVoIP is one of the largest Texas based Business VoIP phone service companies. - Own end-to-end execution of small-to-mid sized customer implementation projects
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment to project timelines and deliverables
- Act as a primary point of contact for internal teams and customers throughout project lifecycle
- Identify risks, resolve issues, and drive projects forward with minimal supervision
- Maintain accurate project documentation, updates, and reporting for leadership visibility
- Ensure adherence to PMO standards, timelines, and quality expectations
- Lead project calls, status updates, and stakeholder communications
- Serve as first escalation point for standard project challenges before elevating further
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains Project Scope and Complexity
- Handles moderate-complexity projects (multi-location, moderate customization, cross-functional dependencies)
- Projects may involve longer durations and increased coordination across teams
- Exercises independent judgment in managing day-to-day project decisions Skills and Expectations
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities
- Problem-solving skills with ability to independently resolve standard issues
- Strong organizational and coordination capabilities
- Demonstrates accountability for outcomes, not just task completion Experience Requirements
- 2-4 years of project management, coordination, or onboarding experience
- Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Telecommunication or technical implementation experience preferred
- Bachelor's or equivalent experience preferred
