This individual will have end-to-end responsibility for planning and executing the program, coordinating internal teams, external partners, logistics providers, and other stakeholders to ensure equipment is transitioned safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with applicable regulatory and customer requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience within aerospace, defense, aviation aftermarket, MRO, or a similarly regulated environment . Experience supporting military or government-related programs, aerospace aftermarket operations, and knowledge of FAA regulations will be particularly valuable. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of a large-scale program involving the transportation and relocation of military/aerospace equipment between operational facilities across multi-state lines. Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedules, milestones, budgets, resources, logistics, risks, and deliverables. Manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget . Coordinate transportation, logistics, equipment movement, site readiness, sequencing, and transition activities with internal and external stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, logistics providers, vendors, and customer representatives. Monitor project schedules, costs, risks, dependencies, and overall performance and provide regular status reporting to leadership. Identify potential project risks and develop appropriate mitigation and contingency plans . Ensure project activities comply with applicable FAA requirements, aviation industry standards, quality requirements, and internal procedures . Support projects involving MRO, aerospace aftermarket, aviation distribution, parts, equipment, and supply-chain operations . Lead cross-functional meetings and maintain clear communication across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration , or a related discipline. Approximately 5-10+ years of project management experience , preferably within aerospace, aviation, defense, MRO, manufacturing, or another highly regulated industry. Demonstrated experience managing large, complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and external partners. Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, risk management, resource planning, and execution. Experience coordinating logistics, transportation, supply chain, equipment moves, facility transitions, or similarly complex operational programs. Working knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation compliance requirements . Strong leadership, communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced operational environment. Proficiency with project management and business tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Office, Asana, Trello, or comparable platforms . Lead end-to-end project management lifecycle for aerospace/MRO programs, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
