Position Summary The Assistant Project Manager I is an early-career role focused on building a foundational understanding of project management processes, systems, and coordination practices through the support of smaller scope, less technically complex projects. Project assignments for this role range from two to three projects at $500k- 5M, to sole ownership of a single $20M, to a team role on contracts up to $60M.
RFI Weekly Follow-Up Compliance:
% of open RFIs with a documented follow-up action taken at minimum once per week (email, phone, or log update)- 95%+

Average calendar days from RFI submission to formal response from A/E or OwnerChange Order Log Completeness:

Qualifications & Skills Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years experience working in construction management, project coordination, or related roles. Prior experience working in project management software (ProCore, CMIC, etc.) Knowledge of construction documentation. Ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines appropriately. Strong accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Ability to work as part of a team or independently.Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant field. Prior experience working in commercial electrical construction projects.Work Environment & Physical Requirements Sedentary:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required remain a stationary position over 75% of the time, constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery which can include a copy machine or printer, frequently communicates with internal and external contacts, and must be able to exchange accurate information. The employee is occasionally required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and handle up to 20 pounds (files or office supplies).
