Job Description

Job Summary 2E Custom Homes and Fabrication, a Hondo-based family-owned company, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee our custom home builds across the Texas Hill Country. This is a hands-on role for someone who's comfortable being a leader, running a jobsite, managing subs and vendors, and keeping projects on schedule and on budget. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day construction operations on custom homes Manage subcontractors, vendors, and on-site crews. Coordinate schedules, materials, and site logistics to keep projects moving.
Basic equipment operating skills:
forklifts, skid steers, boom lifts Communicate project status with company owners and homeowners/clients Travel to job sites and be available on call for urgent issues. Qualifications Experience as a Project Manager or Superintendent, ideally in residential/custom home construction Basic construction knowledge Basic knowledge of Texas Ranches and how they operate: hauling trailers, handling livestock, and general property upkeep General handyman skills Strong management and organizational skills Comfortable operating large equipment General computer skills (email, texting, group calls) Reliable transportation Willingness to travel occasionally to job sites and secure materials Flexibility with schedules for job needed Ability to be on call when needed Bilingual is a plus Critical thinking skills Join us if you're ready to lead transformative projects that shape communities! Pay:
From $80,000.00 per year Application Question(s): What is your experience with construction and or home building ? Do you have your own reliable transportation? Do you know how to operate any heavy machinery? ( tractors, skid steers, excavators ect. ) Are you bilingual ? Is there items on an MVR that would prevent you from driving commercial vehicles?
