Project Manager Houston, TX (Onsite 4 days per week) W2 Contract Role; 12+
Months Rate:
70-75/HR Overview The Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing cybersecurity initiatives across multiple teams and delivery streams. This role ensures alignment with enterprise Agile frameworks (SAFe) while maintaining focus on delivery milestones, risk management, and cross-functional coordination. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment to strategic program objectives Coordinate across Agile teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to manage scope, timeline, and dependencies Facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning, Scrum of Scrums, and cross-ART coordination Track progress using Agile and traditional project metrics (burn-down, velocity, milestones, RAID logs) Identify, manage, and mitigate risks impacting delivery, particularly in complex or regulated environments Ensure alignment between waterfall and Agile delivery models where hybrid approaches are required Develop executive-ready reporting and status communications for leadership stakeholders Drive governance and compliance with internal cybersecurity and project delivery standards Support financial tracking, forecasting, and resource planning for assigned programs Qualifications 7+ years project/program management experience in enterprise IT environments Demonstrated experience supporting Agile/SAFe delivery (working with ARTs, Epic Owners, Release Train Engineers) Strong understanding of cybersecurity programs and risk/compliance requirements Experience managing complex, multi-vendor or global delivery initiatives Proficiency with project and Agile tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Azure DevOps, Jira) Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills Preferred Experience in global, asset-intensive industries (energy, manufacturing, or similar) PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS, etc.) • Beware of scams.
