We are a growing , entrepreneurial company with projects in some of the most desirable communities and markets in Texas. We are looking for a Project Manager who wants more than simply managing a schedule. We want someone who takes ownership of the entire project, leads people well, solves problems, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional home and client experience. The Role The Project Manager is responsible for taking luxury residential projects from preconstruction through completion and turnover. You will have ownership of schedule, budget, trade partners, quality, communication, and ultimately the successful delivery of the project. You will work closely with our clients, architects, designers, superintendents, estimating team, accounting team, and leadership. What You'll Own Manage luxury residential projects from preconstruction through final completion and turnover Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and construction milestones Coordinate and lead superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, architects, designers, engineers, and consultants Hold trade partners accountable for schedule, quality, safety, and contractual commitments Maintain strong communication with clients and proactively manage expectations Review plans and specifications and identify conflicts or issues before they become field problems Manage change orders, selections, purchasing, and project documentation Conduct regular jobsite meetings and maintain clear action items and accountability Monitor project financial performance and identify potential cost or schedule issues early Ensure Sterling Creek Homes' standards for craftsmanship, cleanliness, organization, and client experience are maintained Work closely with leadership to continuously improve our systems and construction processes What We're Looking For Proven experience managing residential construction projects, preferably high end custom homes Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and jobsite operations Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, engineering, and construction documents Strong leadership skills and the ability to hold subcontractors and team members accountable Excellent communication skills with clients, architects, designers, and trade partners Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Comfortable using construction management and productivity software Strong problem solving mentality with a bias toward action High level of personal accountability and ownership Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred, but experience and demonstrated results matter more to us than the degree Who Will Thrive Here You will do well at Sterling Creek Homes if you are competitive, accountable, organized, solutions oriented, and take pride in your work.
