Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to guide a complex HRIS implementation effort for an organization based in Red Oak, Texas. This Long-term Contract opportunity will focus on coordinating the rollout of Paycom, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving a smooth deployment for HR and business stakeholders. The person in this role will bring structure to planning, communication, and execution while helping users adapt successfully to the new platform.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct the full project lifecycle for the Paycom implementation, from kickoff through deployment and post-launch stabilization.
  • Build and maintain detailed timelines, milestone tracking, risk logs, and dependency plans to keep delivery on schedule.
  • Partner with HR, payroll, IT, and operational teams to align business needs, resolve issues, and support implementation readiness.
  • Act as the central point of contact between internal stakeholders and external implementation partners, ensuring clear accountability and follow-through.
  • Lead recurring status meetings, prepare leadership updates, and communicate progress, challenges, and decisions to relevant audiences.
  • Capture process flows, business requirements, configuration decisions, and project documentation to support execution and future reference.
  • Drive change management activities by preparing communication plans and helping users navigate process and system updates.
  • Develop training content and deliver user guidance for HR teams and other employees affected by the new system.
  • Identify roadblocks early, escalate critical concerns when needed, and implement practical solutions to maintain project momentum.
