Project Manager - Data Center Projects We are hiring a Project Manager - Data Center Projects for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity in the Richardson, TX / DFW area . The position will start remotely with travel to project sites as needed, likely around 3 days per week . This role supports large-scale, mission-critical data center construction projects and will oversee projects from preconstruction and procurement through construction, L1-L5 commissioning, Integrated Systems Testing (IST), and final turnover . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Data Center Construction Project Manager looking to take ownership of complex, high-value mission-critical projects. You will have visibility across the entire project lifecycle and work closely with design teams, field leadership, OEMs, commissioning providers, BMS/EPMS integrators, and client operations. The position offers strong growth potential in the rapidly expanding data center sector, along with a competitive $130K-$140K base salary, performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits . Required Skills & Experience 7+ years of construction project management experience 3+ years of data center or mission-critical construction experience Experience delivering $20M+ construction projects on fast-track schedules Strong understanding of MEP systems and critical power/cooling infrastructure Knowledge of UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, CRAH/CRAC, BMS, and EPMS Understanding of data center redundancy configurations including N, N+1, and 2N Hands-on exposure to L1-L5 commissioning and Integrated Systems Testing (IST) Experience managing long-lead equipment procurement, vendor coordination, FAT and SAT activities Experience developing and managing project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project Experience with Procore and construction cost management tools Strong knowledge of change control, RFIs, change orders, cost forecasting, and project risk management Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills Desired Skills & Experience Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier concepts and TIA-942 resiliency ratings Working knowledge of
