Project Manager - Data Center Projects We are hiring a Project Manager - Data Center Projects for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity in the Richardson, TX / DFW area . The position will start remotely with travel to project sites as needed, likely around 3 days per week . This role supports large-scale, mission-critical data center construction projects and will oversee projects from preconstruction and procurement through construction, L1-L5 commissioning, Integrated Systems Testing (IST), and final turnover . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Data Center Construction Project Manager looking to take ownership of complex, high-value mission-critical projects. You will have visibility across the entire project lifecycle and work closely with design teams, field leadership, OEMs, commissioning providers, BMS/EPMS integrators, and client operations. The position offers strong growth potential in the rapidly expanding data center sector, along with a competitive $130K-$140K base salary, performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits . Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of construction project management experience
- 3+ years of data center or mission-critical construction experience
- Experience delivering $20M+ construction projects on fast-track schedules
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and critical power/cooling infrastructure
- Knowledge of UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, CRAH/CRAC, BMS, and EPMS
- Understanding of data center redundancy configurations including N, N+1, and 2N
- Hands-on exposure to L1-L5 commissioning and Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
- Experience managing long-lead equipment procurement, vendor coordination, FAT and SAT activities
- Experience developing and managing project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
- Experience with Procore and construction cost management tools
- Strong knowledge of change control, RFIs, change orders, cost forecasting, and project risk management
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills Desired Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier concepts and TIA-942 resiliency ratings
