Project Manager-Industrial, Subsea & Offshore Hot Job Sugar Land, TX 77478 Apply Apply Description Mako Industries is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Industrial team in Sugar Land, Texas. This is a hands-on project management role with significant customer interaction and responsibility for driving projects from award through engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, and final delivery. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in subsea equipment, BOP systems, drilling controls, hydraulic controls, offshore equipment, or other engineered industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across customers, engineering, procurement, fabrication, quality, and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to customer requirements. Manage projects from contract award through final delivery and closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, and execution plans. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, quality, testing, and logistics activities. Work closely with shop and technical teams to drive execution and resolve project issues. Monitor project costs, schedule performance, scope, quality, and overall project status. Identify project risks and develop mitigation and recovery plans when required. Coordinate customer reviews, inspections, FATs, testing, and other project milestones. Review technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Manage changes in scope and communicate impacts to cost, schedule, and delivery. Provide regular project updates to customers and internal leadership. Support final documentation, shipment, delivery, and project closeout. Qualifications Proven experience managing complex industrial or engineered-equipment projects. Strong understanding of project execution from engineering through fabrication, testing, and delivery. Experience working directly with customers and managing customer expectations. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation. Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost control, quality, and risk management. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working directly with shop-floor, engineering, procurement, and technical personnel. Experience in the oil & gas, subsea, drilling, offshore, or related industrial sector is strongly preferred.
