Job Description

Construction Project Coordinator Location:
Tyler, TX Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with possible overtime
Experience:
1-2 years preferred Position Summary We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to provide administrative, scheduling, financial, and communication support for construction projects. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, computer savvy, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks while keeping projects on schedule. Key Responsibilities Project Administration Maintain project files, documentation, logs, and reports Track contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders Process RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings Assist with permits and inspection documentation Scheduling & Coordination Coordinate meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors Track project schedules, milestones, and deadlines Follow up on pending action items Coordinate material deliveries and vendor schedules Financial Support Track project budgets, costs, and committed expenses Process invoices and subcontractor pay applications Assist with change orders Prepare cost reports for project managers Communication Serve as a point of contact for subcontractors and suppliers Distribute meeting minutes and project correspondence Communicate project updates to stakeholders Ensure required documents and submissions are completed on time Answer phones and assist with customer communication Field & Safety Support Assist with subcontractor onboarding Collect insurance certificates and safety documentation Track safety training records Coordinate inspections and punch-list items Assist with project closeout documentation Typical Daily Tasks Processing RFIs and submittals Calling subcontractors to verify schedules Updating project schedules Tracking material deliveries Processing invoices Assisting with change orders Preparing meeting minutes Updating project management software such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, or Primavera Qualifications & Skills 1-2 years of experience preferred Strong organization and multitasking skills Excellent attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook Scheduling and coordination experience Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to read plans and specifications Construction document knowledge preferred, but not required Personable and professional Computer savvy Comfortable answering phones and communicating with subcontractors, vendors, and customers Bilingual skills are a plus Requirements Must be willing to complete a drug test and background check Must be dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Trade Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
