Job Title:
Project Manager Job Description We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support an urgent, high‑priority project in Utah. This role is critical to project execution, where the Project Manager will take ownership of day‑to‑day project delivery, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and meets client expectations. This project supports a school district in Utah, focusing on current phases and future project expansion. Responsibilities Manage large‑scale construction projects from active execution through upcoming phases. Drive projects to meet schedule and budget targets, with close oversight of cost tracking and forecasting. Oversee daily project operations, including managing subcontractors and trades, coordinating with onsite superintendents, and serving as a key point of contact for clients. Review and manage project budgets and cost breakdowns. Collaborate with internal teams supporting project accounting and reporting. Support projects involving sheet metal, plumbing, and HVAC scopes. Provide leadership during critical and immediate project needs, with the ability to step in quickly. Essential Skills Proven experience as a Project Manager on $10M+ construction projects. Experience supporting or leading projects in the $30M+ range is preferred. Strong experience managing projects to both schedule and budget. Demonstrated ability to manage and understand detailed project budgets. Hands‑on experience coordinating subcontractors, trades, and client relationships. Familiarity with mechanical construction environments (sheet metal, plumbing, HVAC). Experience with project management or construction accounting software is preferred. Ability to build a schedule and manage and track budgets including cost breakdowns. Knowledge and experience with sheet metal, plumbing, and HVAC. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience managing mechanical renovation or retrofit projects for over 5 years. Experience with semiconductor projects or cleanroom experience is highly preferred. Experience with Vista by Viewpoint software is helpful but not required. Work Environment This position is onsite in Orangeville, Utah. The work environment involves managing various trades and subcontractors in a dynamic construction setting, with a focus on mechanical systems such as sheet metal, plumbing, and HVAC. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeville, UT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $62.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
