$52,000-$58,000 per year, based on experience with bonuses This is not an "answer phones and hope for the best" desk job. You own the schedule. If materials are late, crews sit. If inspections get skipped, jobs stall. If receivables doesn't know a job is done, we don't get paid. Targets get hit, or they don't — and this role is how they get hit. If that pressure sounds like a problem, stop reading. If you already know this is you, keep going. What you will do Build and maintain the schedule for pre-install inspections, installs, warranty work, post-install inspections, and material pickups Review or build material lists by job, place orders with suppliers, and time those orders so they hit the schedule — not a week late and not sitting in the yard for two weeks Watch the schedule in real time. If a job is slipping, fix it. Move people, change dates, call the supplier, do what the day requires Keep other departments current on what's coming up and flag completed jobs so receivables can collect Stay locked on the numbers that matter: jobs starting on time, materials on site when needed, work finished, and completed jobs turned over for collection Follow up until the loop is closed. A schedule that looks good on paper and falls apart in the field is a failed schedule Who we are looking for Focused on hitting targets — not busy work, not excuses, results Organized — you run lists, calendars, and follow-ups so nothing disappears Detail-oriented — wrong material, wrong date, or a missed inspection costs real money Strong time management — several jobs move at once and none of them wait for you to "get to it later" Problem solver — when a supplier is short, a crew is delayed, or the weather blows up the week, you find the next best move Clear communicator — crews, suppliers, other departments. Short, accurate, no guessing Self-motivated — nobody should have to chase you to do the job Team player with a whatever-it-takes attitude Steady in a fast-paced, high-pressure shop. Construction does not pause because your inbox is full Strongly preferred Construction scheduling experience Working knowledge of roofing, siding, and windows Do not apply if You need a quiet, predictable office You lose track of details when it gets busy You wait to be told what to do You talk a good game and then drop the ball You are fine with "close enough" instead of hitting the target You know who you are. If this is not you, do not apply.
