Operations & Maintenance Project Manager Strategic Results - 3.3 Alexandria, VA Job Details Full-time $90 an hour 18 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Vendor relationship building Operations management HVAC system maintenance Project planning Maintenance Collaborating with government agencies Administrative experience Driver's License Electrical systems Plumbing Maintenance management Productivity software Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Project Manager to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS) Facilities Management Branch. As the O&M Project Manager, you will oversee operations and maintenance planning, facilities maintenance coordination, project management support, and infrastructure lifecycle activities supporting FPS facilities nationwide. This role supports integration of long-term facilities planning with maintenance operations, project delivery, and operational readiness. This position is contingent upon receipt of award and candidate's ability to pass required background screening. Key Responsibilities Provide Operations & Maintenance (O&M) project management support for FPS facilities and infrastructure activities. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security, and building systems. Coordinate routine inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and system upgrades. Monitor facility system performance and identify issues proactively to minimize downtime and operational disruptions. Manage vendor and contractor relationships supporting maintenance, repair, and facilities operations activities. Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment lifecycle data. Support build-out/reconfiguration projects and ensure alignment with long-term facilities planning initiatives. Coordinate with FPS leadership, GSA representatives, contractors, and stakeholders to support successful project execution. Support budget planning and tracking for maintenance operations, projects, and services. Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, accessibility standards, and building codes. Respond to emergency repairs and critical facility issues as required. Conduct facility assessments, site visits, and operational evaluations. Support preparation of project trackers, status reports, corrective action plans, and executive briefings. Maintain project and maintenance records within ServiceNow or other designated systems of record. Support transition planning, operational readiness, and continuity of operations activities.
Qualifications Required:
U.S. Citizenship Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 10 years of operations, maintenance, or facilities project management experience Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification ActiveFAC-P/PM
Level II certification within the last 5 years or equivalent Experience supporting federal facilities operations and maintenance programs Experience managing maintenance projects, contractors, and facility systems Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and building infrastructure systems Experience with preventive maintenance planning and facilities lifecycle management Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management systems Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to travel regionally for facility assessments and operational support Valid driver's licensePreferred:
Experience supporting DHS, FPS, GSA, or other federal agencies Familiarity with ServiceNow, AutoCAD, Tririga, or facilities management platforms Experience supporting federally leased facilities and occupancy agreement activities Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) certification Knowledge of federal facilities compliance requirements and safety standards Experience supporting emergency response and continuity operations Strategic Results In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to delivering high-quality administrative and training support services that enable TSI to accomplish its mission of developing a skilled transportation workforce. You will play a key leadership role in ensuring operational excellence, effective coordination across divisions, and strong partnership with Government stakeholders. Your ability to align teams, manage performance, and drive continuous improvement will directly impact the success of the contract and the effectiveness of TSI programs.Pay:
