Job Description The Project Manager•Commercial Projects•Ashland, VA will be responsible for: Lead commercial construction projects from award through final completion. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional communication and service. Coordinate with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and project stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project momentum. Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Conduct regular owner meetings and provide consistent project updates. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and overall project performance. Develop, maintain, and update construction schedules throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate scheduling activities with Superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors. Collaborate with preconstruction teams regarding estimates, procurement strategies, long-lead items, and project risks. The Successful Applicant A successful Project Manager•Commercial Projects•Ashland, VA should have: Experience managing commercial construction projects as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager. Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration. Experience working directly with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Knowledge of change orders, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and project documentation processes. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Experience with construction management software and project reporting tools. Understanding of commercial construction methods, safety practices, and quality control standards. Proven ability to successfully deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
