Chantilly, Virginia The Role We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to support the growth of our civil and earthwork operations in Chantilly, VA. This is an office-based role with a strong connection to the field. You'll work closely with our field team to keep projects organized, documentation up to date, and the day-to-day project details moving forward. We're looking for someone with 3-5 years of civil construction or earthwork experience who understands what happens in the field and knows what needs to happen on the office side to support it. What You'll Do Support day-to-day project coordination for civil and earthwork projects Work closely with field personnel to track project progress, materials, schedules, and project needs Maintain project documentation, records, correspondence, and reports Assist with submittals, RFIs, change orders, purchase orders, and other project documentation Review plans, specifications, and project documents Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and clients Track project costs, quantities, materials, and other project information Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and project reports Help keep project schedules and documentation organized Assist with project closeout and final documentation Help develop and maintain the processes and systems needed to support the civil division as it grows What We're Looking For 3-5 years of experience in civil construction, earthwork, or site development Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to read and understand civil construction plans and specifications Strong organization and attention to detail Clear, professional communication skills Able to work effectively with both office and field personnel Someone who can spot what needs to be done and follow it through The Opportunity This is an opportunity to join a growing civil and earthwork operation and have a meaningful role in how the office side of the business is built.
