Project Coordinator (Engineering & Construction) ????Chesapeake, VA I Onsite | Full-Time We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support engineering and construction projects in a fast-paced, professional environment. This role works closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution, accurate documentation, and effective communication across all stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Coordinate project activities and support Project Managers with day-to-day operations Facilitate communication between clients, vendors, suppliers, and internal project teams Prepare and present meeting notes, reports, and presentations using tools like Excel and PowerPoint Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met Plan and coordinate meetings (on-site and off-site), including team meetings, trainings, and stakeholder reviews Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and compliance records Verify and process invoices, expense reports, and project-related financial documentation Assist with project setup, reporting, forecasting, and closeout activities Coordinate training requirements and maintain compliance records for project personnel Support IT and administrative needs for project teams Investigate billing discrepancies and provide updates to project leadership Qualifications Education & Experience (one of the following): Bachelor's degree + 8+ years of experience Associate degree + 10+ years of experience High School Diploma/GED + 11+ years of experience Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively Experience supporting engineering, construction, or technical projects is highly preferred Additional Requirements Must be able to work onsite during standard business hours This role supports a federal project and requires successful completion of a drug screening as a condition of employmentSimilar remote jobs
