Project Manager - Roofing, Siding & GuttersJob Overview 9Hammers is seeking an organized, dependable, and hands-on Project Manager - Roofing, Siding & Gutters to manage residential exterior projects from pre-production through installation and completion. This position is responsible for preparing projects for production, ordering roofing and siding materials, scheduling gutter installations, coordinating crews and deliveries, delivering and returning materials as needed, and serving as the primary point of contact during installation. The ideal candidate is proactive, communicates well, understands residential exterior construction, and is comfortable balancing project coordination with hands-on field responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Review signed contracts, measurements, scopes of work, photos, and project details before ordering materials or scheduling production. Prepare and place roofing and siding material orders , ensuring quantities, colors, accessories, and specifications match the contracted scope. Coordinate material deliveries with suppliers and confirm materials are available before installation. Schedule and coordinate gutter installations with subcontractors and customers. Schedule roofing and siding installations and coordinate crews based on project readiness, materials, weather, and availability. Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer during the installation date , providing updates and addressing questions or concerns. Communicate project scope and special instructions to crews and subcontractors before work begins. Visit active jobsites to monitor progress, workmanship, property protection, cleanliness, and compliance with the scope of work. Deliver additional materials to jobsites when needed to keep projects moving and minimize production delays. Pick up and return unused or excess materials to suppliers and ensure returns are properly documented and credited. Address material shortages, damaged materials, scope discrepancies, and unexpected field conditions. Coordinate with the sales team when additional work, change orders, or scope clarification is required. Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications, applicable building codes, and 9Hammers quality standards. Coordinate inspections, punch-list items, repairs, and final project completion. Maintain accurate project notes, photos, documents, material information, and status updates in CRM . Monitor labor, material usage, returns, and additional expenses to help maintain project profitability. Maintain strong communication between customers, crews, subcontractors, suppliers, sales, and the office throughout production. Ensure projects are fully completed and ready for final walkthrough, invoicing, and closeout. Qualifications & Skills Experience in residential roofing, siding, gutters, or exterior remodeling preferred. Knowledge of roofing and siding materials, components, and installation processes. Experience preparing material orders and calculating or verifying material quantities preferred. Ability to read contracts, scopes of work, measurements, and project documentation. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously. Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working both in the office and in the field . Ability to safely lift, load, transport, and unload construction materials as required. Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and installation crews. Experience construction CRM's softwares preferred Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required. Ability to travel throughout the 9Hammers service area and respond to active jobsite needs.
