Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Residential Project Manager to lead the successful planning, execution, and completion of residential construction projects. This pivotal role involves coordinating all aspects of project delivery, managing teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining excellent client relationships. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, strong leadership skills, and extensive construction management experience to drive projects forward efficiently and within scope. Job may request scope outside just residential construction. Responsibilities Oversee the entire lifecycle of residential construction projects from initial planning through final delivery, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate project schedules using construction management software such as BuilderTrend and Microsoft Office tools, ensuring timely completion of milestones. Manage and lead project teams including subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and engineers to foster collaboration and accountability. Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to ensure accurate implementation on site. Monitor construction site activities for safety compliance with local regulations and company policies; conduct regular site inspections. Control project costs through effective budget management, cost estimation, and procurement strategies utilizing HeavyBid or similar estimating tools. Maintain comprehensive project documentation including schedules, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress reports using ProCore, Prolog or equivalent software. Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards. Facilitate communication between clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to provide updates on project status and resolve issues promptly. Manage project schedules coordination to align with client expectations while mitigating delays or disruptions. Manage closings, and coordinating with the sales team. Skills Extensive experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project scheduling, cost management, and budget control techniques. Proven ability to manage teams in a construction management role within residential or commercial infrastructure projects. Deep understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and regulatory compliance requirements. Skilled in managing complex infrastructure projects with a focus on quality control and timely delivery. Excellent project coordination skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively using time management best practices. Familiarity with construction plans development and review processes as well as contract administration. Demonstrated leadership in managing multiple stakeholders while maintaining clear communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.
