A Set or Exhibit Designer designs display booths or exhibits for museums, galleries or trade shows. Develops drawings and plans to accommodate the specific space, lighting and temperature requirements of materials to be exhibited; builds or supervises building of exhibits. Designs stage sets and scenery for performances, primarily for live theater performances, or sets for filmed performances or for events such as press conferences. Works with directors and producers to plan props and materials needed for a show.

Job DescriptionWe are seeking individuals who have an interest in technical problem solving to fill the position of System Design Specialist for our Fredericksburg location. The System Design group plays a key role in growing Kaesers market share by helping to design compressed air systems throughout the country. Come work with this highly skilled group, who will help train you and prepare you for the next step in your technical career. This is an entry level position.
Duties include:
Completing energy audits and performing analysis based on field-submitted data.

Designing compressed air stations to meet customers specifications. This includes specifying equipment, creating P&I diagrams, CAD layouts, electrical diagrams, and configuring master controllers.

Designing new products, and developing / modifying existing Kaeser products based on market needs and customer requirements.

Working with senior personnel for on-the-job training

Customer service experience (recommended).General technical and business experience to include data analysis and project management skills (recommended).Experience with
CAD / 3D
Modeling / drafting (recommended).Good communication skills / phone skills (required).Ability to proficiently write and/or edit technical documents (required).High School Diploma (required); Technical / Engineering diploma, certificate, or related work experience (recommended).This is a hourly position, with an annual range of $50,000-$55,000 to commensurate with experience.
