Project Manager - Heavy Civil Construction Hampton, VA $90,000-$140,000 A growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a variety of infrastructure, utility, and earthwork projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in site development, underground utilities, grading, and heavy civil construction. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from preconstruction through completion Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams Track project costs, change orders, and overall project performance Review plans, specifications, and contract documents Maintain communication with clients, engineers, inspectors, and project stakeholders Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Superintendent in heavy civil construction Strong background in underground utilities, earthwork, grading, and site development Experience with water, sewer, storm drain, or infrastructure projects preferred Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Experience with project management and cost tracking software preferred Benefits Stable pipeline of heavy civil and infrastructure projects Health insurance and comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Opportunities for advancement and long-term growth
