Known for its strong reputation, repeat client base, and hands-on leadership team, the company offers a collaborative environment where employees have a visible impact on project success. Job Description The Assistant Project Manager will: Assist in managing commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, clients, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Support project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and document control activities. Track project progress and help ensure milestones are achieved on schedule. Facilitate communication between field teams, clients, consultants, and leadership. Monitor project costs, change orders, and contract documentation. Participate in project meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders. Help maintain quality, safety, and compliance standards across all project activities. Support projects ranging from approximately $100K to $15M, with a typical project size of $3M to $5M. Work on highly technical and secure environments, including office, healthcare, government, higher education, technology, and SCIF projects. The Successful Applicant A successful Assistant Project Manager should have: 2-5+ years of construction experience in a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar project support role. Experience with high-end interior fit-out or tenant improvement projects. Ability to support and coordinate one larger project or multiple smaller projects simultaneously. Strong organizational, communication, and client-facing skills. Ability to successfully complete required background screening and drug testing for project badging and site access.
