Role:
The Project Manager for the National Fiber Team will lead and coordinate large-scale fiber infrastructure projects across the United States, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. This role is pivotal in driving the expansion and enhancement of fiber optic networks that support wholesale trade operations and connectivity solutions. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and external vendors, to manage project schedules, risks, and resources effectively. They will also serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear communication and status updates throughout the project lifecycle. Ultimately, this position aims to deliver high-quality fiber network projects that meet strategic business objectives and support national connectivity goals.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience managing large-scale infrastructure or telecommunications projects. Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and vendors. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent). Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent. Experience specifically in fiber optic network deployment or telecommunications infrastructure. Familiarity with wholesale trade industry dynamics and regulatory requirements. Advanced skills in data analysis and project financial management. Experience working with cross-functional national teams and remote project coordination.Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage detailed project plans for fiber network deployment and upgrades. Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement mitigation strategies promptly. Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation. Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and key stakeholders. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies throughout project execution. Facilitate communication and collaboration among diverse teams to resolve challenges and optimize project outcomes.
