Department Summary:
L212 contains MITRE Enterprise Program and Risk Management thought leaders. The department is composed of recognized subject matter experts, who are proficient in a suite of program and risk management skills including: leading people, project communications, scope management employing Agile, establishing program metrics, developing schedules, and more. The Enterprise Program & Risk Management department provides support across a wide range of MITRE portfolios, employing ~ 50 highly qualified and experienced staff.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Project coordination for MITRE projects Implementation and maintenance of project schedules Implementation and maintenance of project risk register(s) Research associated with specific project requirements Handling of project logistics, including meeting management and facilitation Project communications and reporting (includes generation of project periodic reports) Management of project artifacts Application of artificial intelligence (AI) approaches to project management
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with relevant experience who can contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience. US citizenship required to obtain a Secret clearance in the future Basic knowledge of project, program and risk management as would be evident by a Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification. Experience in the application of AI tools Specific experience in one or more project management domain (e.g., risk management, change control, schedule management, project reporting, quality management) Per the U.S. Government's eligibility requirements, you must be a U.S Citizen to be considered for a security clearance. This position requires a minimum of 3 days a week on-site.
