Electrical Assistant Project Manager Job Description We are seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to join our team, supporting the Vice President and Project Managers in executing daily tasks. This role involves planning and organizing projects under the guidance of a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, ensuring smooth project execution on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities

+ Plan and organize projects as directed by a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.

+ Prepare change orders, submittals, and RFI's.

+ Monitor project activities with the onsite team and Superintendent to ensure timely and budgeted project completion.

+ Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of the Project Manager.

+ Manage financial aspects of contracts, including billing, rental equipment, income, and expenses.

+ Maintain a strong relationship with clients.

+ Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to address and resolve work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.

+ Identify and manage project risks proactively.

+ Prepare project submittals.

+ Perform drawing take-offs and estimating.

+ Procure materials and prepare billings.

+ Manage collections and project closeout activities.

+ Forecast requirements, manage budgets, and track expenses.

+ Create and maintain detailed project schedules.

+ Oversee the electrical installation of equipment. Essential Skills

+ Experience in electrical contracting and construction management.

+ Mission Critical/Data Center background.

+ Experience with submittals and change orders.

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Electrical background.

+ Data Center experience is advantageous.

+ No degree required. Work Environment This position involves both office and construction site duties. The employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations. Occasionally, the employee may encounter extreme conditions at construction sites. The noise level can be loud, and work is conducted in various weather conditions. The role includes both indoor and outdoor responsibilities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sterling, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
