Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems is required. 12+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, systems administration, or infrastructure planning. 5+ years leading complex, cross-functional projects, including large-scale or multi-million-dollar initiatives. Strong command of core networking protocols, including BGP, TCP/IP, MPLS, and IPv6.
SD WAN & TDM IP
Experience with optical networking, data center environments, and server-level hardware deployments. Working knowledge of cloud networking across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Proven ability to model network growth, optimize capacity, and align technical decisions with budget constraints.

In this role, you'll serve as a technical leader driving the successful delivery of complex network infrastructure and software initiatives. Your expertise will directly contribute to the reliability, resilience, and future evolution of one of the world's most critical transportation systems.
Lead end-to-end program execution:
Define, plan, and manage the full lifecycle of network infrastructure and software projects, from concept through deployment.
Drive cross-functional collaboration:
Coordinate with RAN, hardware, software, and systems integration teams-plus external vendors-to deliver on schedule and at scale.
Own technical risk management:
Proactively identify, track, and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, particularly in network deployments.
Translate strategy into action:
Align technical deliverables with broader business objectives, operational priorities, and long-term timelines.
Communicate with impact:
Provide clear, actionable status updates, dashboards, and briefings to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Compensation:
$48/hr to $50/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
