BOLT Builders is an award-winning custom home builder serving Washington, DC and Northern Virginia. We specialize in high-end custom homes and large-scale renovations, delivering projects featured in Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Better Homes & Gardens, and other national publications. We're looking for a Construction Manager who can successfully manage projects from groundbreaking through completion. This is a hybrid field and office role. You should be equally comfortable leading subcontractors on-site, managing budgets and schedules, solving problems in real time, and communicating with clients. What You'll Do Manage custom home and renovation projects from pre-construction through closeout Build and maintain project schedules and budgets Lead daily jobsite activities and coordinate subcontractors Ensure work meets BOLT's quality standards Order and coordinate materials with long lead times Manage change orders and job costs Communicate regularly with homeowners, architects, and trade partners Solve field issues quickly to keep projects moving Coordinate inspections and project closeout What We're Looking For 5+ years managing residential construction projects Experience with custom homes or major renovations Strong knowledge of residential construction means and methods Able to read plans and identify construction issues before they become problems Comfortable leading subcontractors and holding schedules accountable Strong budgeting, scheduling, and organizational skills Excellent communication with clients and trade partners Valid driver's license Success in This Role The ideal candidate thinks like both a superintendent and a project manager. You know how a house gets built, you're comfortable making decisions in the field, and you understand how every decision affects schedule, budget, and quality.
