Job Description

Rebuild Project Manager SERVPRO of Kitsap County is looking for an experienced Rebuild Project Manager to manage residential and commercial reconstruction projects following fire, water, mold, and other property damage. We're looking for someone who understands construction, takes ownership of their projects, and can confidently manage customers, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and the unexpected challenges that come with reconstruction. Previous construction, reconstruction, restoration, or project management experience is a plus. About the Role As a Rebuild Project Manager, you'll manage projects from initial estimate through final completion. You'll work both in the field and behind the scenes, coordinating the people, materials, schedules, documentation, and communication needed to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on budget, with a high degree of customer satisfaction. What You'll Do Evaluate prospective projects and educate customers on the reconstruction process. Scope, budget, and manage residential and commercial reconstruction projects. Develop project schedules and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and internal teams. Prepare accurate estimates and revise scopes as projects change. Secure necessary building permits and ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, and local building codes. Collect project deposits and progress payments, and assist in securing final payments. Manage multiple active projects while monitoring schedules, costs, and budgets. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the rebuild process. Maintain clear, consistent communication with homeowners, insurance adjusters, internal personnel, and external stakeholders. Recruit, identify, qualify, and manage external subcontractors and resource providers. Schedule and oversee in-house technicians, subcontractors, and material suppliers throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct job site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, safety, and code compliance. Conduct strict quality assurance activities, manage warranty work, and resolve job-site issues in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate contracts, change orders, approvals, supplements, permits, photos, and project documentation. Monitor and manage overall project budgets, job costs, expenses, and profit margins. Identify and resolve project challenges while keeping customers and project partners informed. Manage projects through completion and closeout, including compiling and resolving punch list items, performing the final walk-through, securing a signed Certificate of Satisfaction, and ensuring final customer satisfaction. What We're Looking For Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, sequencing, and scheduling. A sales bent and the ability to build trust and close deals with potential customers. Experience estimating residential or commercial construction projects preferred. Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Ability to handle urgency, prioritize time, and consistently follow up with clients. Superb customer service track record with excellent communication and negotiation skills. High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
