In this role you will be responsible and accountable for Recruiting, Staffing Coordination, Account Management, Administrative efforts and other duties as assigned. You will be actively engaged to fulfill customer requirements and ensuring personnel are prepared for work at customer jobsites. You will be expected to be engaged and perform duties outside normal working hours (8am - 5pm, Mon - Fri) on weekdays and weekends as necessary or requested.Trades Positions may include Coatings and Paint Sprayers and Painters, Abrasive or High-Pressure Blasters, Welders, Shipfitters, Electricians, Pipe Fitters and other trades commonly assigned to U.S. Navy Ship Repair projects
Core Job Responsibilities:
Recruiting & Sourcing :
Source and onboard trade workers, manage daily crew rosters, track safety certs, and act as a liaison between yard superintendents and field employees.Compliance & Safety :
Verify OSHA training, security clearances, and trade certifications.Scheduling :
Assign personnel to active vessel repair or drydock projects.Onboarding :
Manage intake logistics, badging, and orientation.Required Experience:
2+ years in heavy industrial or maritime staffing, human resources, or crew coordination.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & ATTRIBUTES
- Ability and willingness to learn skills and trade related tasks
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work safely in a variety of industrial environments while performing tasks.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to manage multiple training schedules and deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing training needs.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Working knowledge of training methodologies and instructional design principles.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to communicate bilingually in English and Spanish preferred.
