Job Summary The Senior Project Manager (SRPM) is a driven, detail-oriented professional who oversees preconstruction, cost control, contract administration, and project execution. Ideal alignment is an individual who brings a history of successful commercial GC work and a passion for team leadership and client satisfaction. The SRPM for this role has significantly more experience than a PM and also is expected to have their own list of relationships such as architects, developers and property managers with real projects either currently in preconstruction or about to start the preconstruction phase. Duties/Responsibilities Ongoing list of clients with real upcoming construction projects. Lead all aspects of assigned commercial construction projects. Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and RFI/submittal workflows. Oversee buyout, subcontractor negotiations, and procurement. Coordinate with Superintendents, clients, architects, and consultants. Track costs and identify opportunities for value engineering. Provide mentoring to Project Engineers and Junior PMs. Qualifications 10+ years in Project Management roles with a GC, focused on $5M-$30M commercial projects. Deep understanding of contracts, budgets, and schedules. Proficiency in Foundation, Procore, MS Project, Excel, Bluebeam, Planswift or similar construction software preferred. BA in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in all commercial construction building types, including but not limited to wood-framed buildings, concrete tilt-ups, pre-manufactured metal buildings, masonry buildings, structural steel systems, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and civil work. Excellent communication, team leadership and problem-solving skills. Dependable, conscientious, and well-spoken.
