Job Description

Tacoma Roofing and Waterproofing has an immediate need for a Project Coordinator, who is responsible for the overall job set-up process as well as insurance management. The Project Coordinator initiates each project, from compiling in-house or external subcontracts to transferring all job details to the assigned Project Manager and acting as a liaison between our management team and the customer. The Project Coordinator is someone who is extremely detailed oriented, meticulous, and is an excellent communicator. We are offering $22-27/hr, depending on experience. Furthermore, we expect the Project Coordinator to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be very adept at customer service.
Key Responsibilities Document Compilation:
Prepare new job folders electronically and in hard copy. Assist the General Manager in completing the contract documents and distribution of all documents to the proper parties and teams.
Maintain Progress of New Project Process:
Ensure contract negotiations and document procurement progress forward quickly, by driving the process with follow-up emails and tracking document status to ensure timelines are being maintained and projects are executed on time. Attention to
Detail:
Intense focus on precise language, grammar, and contractual obligations to prevent ambiguity.
Communication:
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members about job start-up timelines.
Insurance Administration:
Manage insurance compliances and audits, submit COIs, and gain bonding, when required.
Compliance & Risk:
Ensure compliance with local regulations and contractual terms. Reduce contract risks and disputes.
General Office Management:
Assist with office management and duties associated with day to day operations as need by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications Analytical Thinking:
Evaluate complex scenarios and identify potential problems before they escalate.
Relationship Management and Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships and build rapport between customers and management to foster collaboration.
Flexibility and Strategic Thinking:
Adapt to changes and pre-planning alternatives for negotiations.
Software Proficiency:
Competent with MS Office Suite and construction management software, Docusign, and .pdf documents and binding packages. Attention to
Detail:
High level of accuracy in reviewing contracts, insurance policies, and financial documents.
Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
