Job Description
Our client is a respected commercial mechanical contractor serving the Puget Sound region, specializing in HVAC design-build projects. They partner directly with building owners, developers, architects, and general contractors to deliver innovative mechanical systems from concept through completion — offering a full benefits package to their team members. As their project portfolio continues to grow, our client is seeking an experienced HVAC Design-Build Estimator / Project Manager to take a leading role in driving projects from preconstruction through successful execution. This is a key position that blends technical expertise with client-facing responsibility, making it central to the organization's continued growth and success. Responsibilities Prepare conceptual and detailed HVAC estimates for design-build projects. Review plans, specifications, and project requirements. Coordinate with owners, engineers, architects, and general contractors during project development. Develop budgets, schedules, and project execution plans. Manage projects from award through closeout. Oversee subcontractors, vendors, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Monitor project costs, schedules, and profitability. Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications 5+ years of commercial HVAC estimating, project management, or design-build experience. Strong knowledge of commercial mechanical systems. Experience with estimating software and project management processes. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
