  • Field Service Migration:
    This is Where You Come In We're looking for a Project Manager
  • Field Service Migration who can turn executive vision into a successfully delivered and fully adopted field service platform.
This role will own project momentum, drive disciplined decision-making, and lead cross-functional execution across business, IT, and vendor teams—ensuring nothing critical is missed before go-live and that the final solution meets or exceeds current service, financial, and customer experience standards. Specifically, MacDonald-Miller is migrating from Key2Act's Wennsoft Service module within our legacy Great Plains ERP environment to BuildOps. This transformation will directly impact and improve the daily work experience of approximately 350 service team members. While the project will be complex and fast-paced, it will also be highly visible, meaningful, and rewarding. This is a dedicated, full-time onsite role from project kickoff through hypercare and stabilization. Top Deliverables in Your First Year Program Execution Ownership Own the integrated project plan, dependencies, timelines, and execution across discovery, configuration, testing, go-live, and stabilization phases. Decision & Momentum Leadership Drive meetings toward decisions and outcomes. Surface tradeoffs, escalate issues appropriately, and maintain forward momentum aligned with sponsor and IT leadership direction. Cross-Functional Coordination Bring together business process owners, IT, data teams, change management, and vendor partners into one coordinated execution rhythm. This role will work closely with the ERP Project Manager throughout the implementation. Risk, Dependency & Roadblock Management Proactively identify risks, remove blockers, and prevent downstream surprises—particularly around integrations, data migration, testing, and operational readiness. Single Source of Truth Maintain accurate visibility into project scope, status, readiness, risks, timelines, and dependencies for leadership and stakeholders.
Your Background:
What Kind of Person Will Thrive in This Role? You should have... 7-10+ years of project management experience, including at least two full-cycle field service or ERP implementations through go-live and stabilization Industry experience within commercial mechanical, HVAC, construction, or a similar field service environment Strong understanding of software integrations and data migration concepts Experience with data cleansing, validation, and testing processes Change management experience supporting field technicians, dispatchers, and back-office teams with varying adoption needs Experience leading structured User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Strong facilitation skills with the ability to drive meetings to decisions and maintain momentum across complex initiatives The ability to escalate issues with clear recommendations and actionable options Experience managing vendor accountability while maintaining strong working partnerships Success in This Role Looks Like Core project and decision-making meetings are organized, productive, and action-oriented Task backlogs, dependencies, and ownership are clearly tracked and maintained Risks are surfaced early with practical recommendations and mitigation plans IT, vendors, and business teams remain aligned and accountable Teams trust one another enough to have honest, direct, and timely conversations No critical surprises occur during go-live Ownership and accountability across teams remain clear throughout the project Users are properly trained with adequate preparation time—not rushed at the last minute Leadership feels confident making readiness and go-live decisions The project stays on time and on budget You'll Thrive Here If You're Motivated By… Being part of an amazing, collaborative team that supports one another and pushes each other to improve every day Taking ownership, figuring things out independently, and continuously learning Working in a lean, results-oriented environment where high performers are trusted with significant responsibility Being challenged to grow, contribute more, and achieve more each year Having fun while working in a transparent, innovative, and supportive culture with a strong family feel
Benefits Compensation:
$150,000 to $185,000 Annually. This is a full-time, 24-month position. At the end of the term, the role will conclude and employment with MacDonald-Miller will end. MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions presently provides employee coverage for: Medical, dental, vision for employees (coverage available for dependents for shared premium). 401k retirement plan including Company matching.
