Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here A well-established industrial engineering and manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Manager of Projects to launch and lead its Project Management Office (PMO). This position will oversee a team of Project Managers and support staff while providing strategic direction for complex industrial and capital equipment projects. The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership, financial expertise, and experience managing projects from contract award through final commissioning.
Job Responsibilities:
Build, lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers and project support professionals Oversee multiple concurrent industrial and capital equipment projects, ensuring they remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations Establish consistent project management processes, monitor performance, and drive accountability and continuous improvement Review project budgets, forecasts, schedules, contracts, change orders, risks, and financial performance Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Field Services, Sales, Finance, and customers to resolve issues and ensure successful project execution
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 10+ years of project management experience within industrial, energy, manufacturing, or capital equipment environments At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing project professionals Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, contract administration, and project profitability Proficiency with project management software and ERP systems; PMP certification and EPC experience are preferred
