Job Description Description PeaceHealth is seeking a Program Director Business Transformation & Performance in Vancouver, WA… The Program Director, Business Transformation & Performance works closely with the System VP, Business Transformation and the EVP, Chief Transformation & Operations Officer in setting strategy for operations performance improvement. Serves as a trusted partner in coordinating large-scale initiatives, monitoring organizational performance, and ensuring priorities remain on track. Position conducts analysis of operational and financial performance, identifies trends and opportunities, develops dashboards and executive reporting, and facilitates action planning and follow-up activities to support performance improvement efforts. This role ensures initiatives are supported by clear implementation plans, measurable milestones, and transparent reporting of progress, risks, and results. Position acts as an extension of executive leadership by supporting operational review processes, facilitating accountability for agreed upon actions, and helping teams overcome barriers to execution. Serves as an extension of the EVP in attending Carry Forward meetings, MOR meetings, and other system meetings when appropriate and assigned to ensure important work continues to move forward. Through strong analytical, project management, and relationship-building capabilities, the Program Director enables successful delivery of enterprise initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness and advance PeaceHealth's strategic goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Works closely with the System Vice President, Business Transformation and the EVP, Chief Transformation & Operations Officer in setting strategy for operations performance improvement. Develop plans, presentations, dashboards, and action plan tracking tools for identified efforts. Serves as an extender of the EVP attending Carry Forward meetings, MOR meetings, and other system meetings when appropriate and assigned to ensure important work continues to move forward. Coordinates large-scale initiatives, monitoring organizational performance, and ensuring priorities remain on track. Conducts analysis of operational and financial performance, identifies trends and opportunities, develops dashboards and executive reporting, and facilitates action planning and follow-up activities to support performance improvement efforts. Supports analytics assessment of monthly performance results providing summary of opportunity areas, areas of outstanding performance for recognition, and areas in which increased system support may be needed. Provide transparent reporting on progress against PeaceHealth priorities, milestones, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Ensures successful delivery of enterprise programs and systemwide initiatives that enable business model transformation and organizational effectiveness and advance PeaceHealth's strategic goals. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree:
Business, Healthcare Administration or related field.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years experience in building and leading healthcare delivery and/or system services with demonstrated abilities to implement transformation initiatives. Minimum of 5 years leadership experience. Skilled in business transformation and innovation. Experience working with system and operational leadership teams, physicians, business partners, and other key stakeholders for business integration activities. Experience delivering transformation within a dynamic, business-critical environment, able to balance speed, stability, and operational continuity as well as anticipate and mitigate business disruption risks. Experience aligning senior stakeholders across business and technology functions, leading governance forums and drive clear, timely decision-making; resolves cross-functional conflicts and competing priorities. (Preferred)
REQUIRED SKILLS
Able to manage multiple priorities and demands simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to use analytics to assess performance and create performance improvement plans. Strong communicator in written and verbal communications, understanding the needs of different audiences and stakeholders. Ability to create clear presentations and communication materials with strong presentation skills. Ability to influence and gain buy-in of key stakeholders through matrix relationships and use of existing leaders and organizational structures. Strong project management and analytical skills using current methodology to develop effective and efficient portfolio management for large scale organizational initiatives. Skilled in implementing large-scale enterprise transformation programs, enabling integrated capabilities and driving business-led, data-driven outcomes across the organization. Effective use of change process models to advance engagement and cultural integration. Relationship centered leader who is influential and an effective facilitator. Is a role model for the attributes of PeaceHealth's Leadership behaviors. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $140,899 - $195,000.
