- $35 an hour 10 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications High school diploma or GED Driver's License Construction administrative experience Full Job Description Job Summary 509 Electric is a licensed electrical contractor (EL01) based in Yakima, serving the Yakima Valley, Kittitas County, Walla Walla, and the Columbia Basin.
- food processing plants, wastewater treatment facilities, municipal projects, and commercial buildings. We are looking for an organized, deadline-driven Project Coordinator to take the paperwork side of our projects off the owner's desk and run it properly. Bid and Preconstruction Support
- Monitor plan centers and general contractor bid invitations; log every invite with its due date and keep the bid calendar current
- Download and organize plans, specifications, and addenda for active bids
- Request, chase, and track vendor and supplier quotes
- Assemble complete bid packages (bid forms, bonds, required certifications) and get them submitted before deadline Project Administration
- Prepare, submit, and track submittals and product data; log approvals, revisions, and resubmittals
- Prepare RFIs and track responses to closure
- Maintain job files, current drawing sets, and as-built records
- Track purchase orders, material releases, and deliveries against job budgets Billing and Compliance
- Prepare monthly pay applications (AIA
G702/G703
format) with supporting backup and lien releases- Assemble change order documentation and pricing backup
- Prepare L&I Intents and Affidavits, certified payroll, and prevailing wage documentation for public works projects
- Update job cost tracking and produce project status reports Closeout
- Assemble O&M manuals, warranties, and as-builts What We Are Looking For
- 1-3 years in construction project administration, project coordination, or PM support (electrical, mechanical, or general contractor preferred)
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working in job-cost spreadsheets
- Experience with AIA pay applications, submittals, and RFIs is a significant plus
- Washington public works and prevailing wage experience is a strong plus
- Genuinely detail-oriented; this job is deadlines and documents, and missing either one costs money
- Clear written and phone communication with general contractors, vendors, and inspectors
- High school diploma required; construction management coursework a plus
