Our Associate Project Manager's Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Daily schedule can be flexible.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.
Understands the current state of customer projects and deadlines and assures necessary coordination is being achieved, & step in as necessary in order to achieve desired results. Communicates with customers and Account Managers about the specifics of Instore projects or their special needs. Assist the VP of Sales Development and Account Managers with internal and external value added programs such as cost downs, RFPs, margin enhancements, and/or strategic projects. Assist in onboarding of new strategic accounts. Nurture long-term relationships with strategic customers. Assist internal team members with strategic project opportunities requiring urgency. Balances workloads, contacting the VP of Sales Development and Account Manager when necessary to ensure projects are done in a timely fashion and take on special assignments to aid the department or special customer specific assignments. Expedites special projects and orders through design when necessary. Support existing business and growth opportunities with key strategic accounts to include providing quotations and negotiating pricing, providing quality alternatives and solutions to customers' expressed wants and needs and driving projects through the system. At project inception participate and assist in design direction and flow. Ensure timely delivery of specs into estimating phase, and coordinate all aspects of estimating/quoting requirements of strategic accounts. Facilitate communication between key strategic accounts, account manager and internal staff to efficiently maintain positive momentum on all projects, orders, or initiatives. Responsible for tracking and communicating all pre-production account specific requirements to other team members to ensure design, specs, estimating, and quotes are executed within these expectations. Is thoroughly knowledgeable of all projects and their current status. Maintains an organized project worksheet to coordinate front-end activities with key strategic accounts that is shared with account manager and internal staff that is involved with the accounts and readily accessible to the customer. Support and/or step in for account manager on day to day activities relating to key strategic accounts including providing work instruction or requests to internal GNC staff.
