Job Description

job summary: Our client is seeking a Project Control Specialist, to lead scheduling and cost functions for strategic construction projects. You will act as a subject matter expert, managing project progress, cost forecasting, and contract administration from development through close-out. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera P6 to ensure financial and operational success.

Madison, Wisconsin job type: Contract salary: $61.66 - 66.66 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Prepare and maintain detailed project estimates and ongoing forecasts, ensuring accuracy in cash flow, contingency planning, and corporate financial modeling.

Perform detailed reviews using Oracle Primavera P6 to monitor compliance with contractual dates and validate that field progress is accurately reflected.

Act as the lead resource for contractual and commercial terms, negotiating change orders and ensuring oversight of the Document Management System (Unifier).Utilize Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) to measure project health, providing early identification of risks and recommending corrective action plans.

Interface with corporate accounting, finance, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project accounting, quantity takeoffs, and reporting requirements. #LI-SW1 qualifications: Experience level:
