Job Description Lead Special Projects from preconstruction through closeout, owning schedule, budget, quality and client expectations. Develop project budgets and forecasts while closely monitoring financial performance and identifying opportunities and risks. Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors and internal stakeholders. Develop and monitor project schedules, proactively addressing issues to keep projects on track. Provide leadership, mentorship and oversight to Special Projects PMs while helping establish processes and best practices across the group. Partner with Business Development and leadership to support new opportunities, strengthen client relationships and grow the Special Projects business. The Successful Applicant 7+ years of construction experience, including at least 5 years independently managing projects. Strong experience with project budgeting, forecasting, financial management and change orders. A polished, confident communicator who can build relationships while also holding clients, subcontractors and project teams accountable. Experience managing commercial construction projects; education, healthcare, special projects, renovation or other fast-paced work is highly valued. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field strongly preferred, with demonstrated interest in developing into a people-leadership role.
