Job Description

Project Manager - Commercial Drywall A well-established commercial construction contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in commercial drywall, metal framing, and related interior systems. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout while coordinating with field teams, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
Requirements:
3+ years of Project Management experience in commercial drywall, interiors, specialty contracting, or related construction Experience with drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, insulation, or related scopes Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, cost control, change orders, and project documentation Ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, and project logistics Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously Preferred 5+ years of commercial drywall experience Experience managing projects valued at $1M+ Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and forecasting Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, OST, PlanSwift, or similar construction software Degree in Construction Management or related field
Responsibilities:
Manage commercial drywall projects from award through completion Maintain project schedules, budgets, documentation, and production plans Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and deliveries Monitor project costs, profitability, schedules, and progress Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, scopes, and change orders Communicate with general contractors, field teams, vendors, and internal leadership Resolve project challenges while protecting schedule, budget, quality, and safety Ensure accurate project documentation and successful project closeout
Compensation, Benefits & Perks:
