THE ROLE

The primary focus of the Operations Manager is to oversee business operations by providing effective methods of day-to-day operations, maintain and develop client relationships, estimate work, and recruit/develop personnel for ongoing and future projects. Essential Functions Ensure organizational safety expectations are met by all employees

Monitor the financial performance and production of projects

Ensure contractual compliance for current and future projects

Develop, strengthen, and maintain long lasting client relationships

Pursue business growth opportunities

Advise staff of company policy expectations

Lead, direct, and audit the work of assigned staff; act as a mentor

Coordinate employee performance reviews

Facilitate and enforce company policies and procedures

Regular and predictable attendance

Other duties as assigned

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience (10+ years' in a leadership role within the construction or utilities industry) Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Strong commitment to safety and the ability to develop a solid safety culture with subordinates

Excellent salesmanship and communication skills to include written and verbal

Strong leadership and team building skills

Compensation & Benefits Salary

Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
