Project Coordinator - Permits & Contracts Permitting | Contract Administration | Compliance | Project Coordination Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, growing company in the commercial signage and manufacturing industry seeking a Project Coordinator - Permits & Contracts. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional with experience in permitting, contract administration, compliance, or project coordination to join a collaborative team and play a vital role in keeping commercial projects on schedule and compliant. The ideal candidate will have experience managing permits, contracts, licensing, compliance documentation, and project records while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines. Key Responsibilities Coordinate, prepare, and submit permits for commercial projects Track permit applications, approvals, and project milestones Ensure projects remain compliant with local, state, and municipal regulations Assist with variance requests, zoning applications, and public hearing documentation Manage business licensing requirements across multiple jurisdictions Maintain employee certifications, licensing, and compliance records Prepare and manage Certificates of Insurance (COIs) Assist with insurance renewals and related documentation Review contracts, purchase orders, subcontractor agreements, and customer requirements for completeness and compliance Maintain third-party compliance platforms and customer qualification portals Ensure all required documentation is completed before project kickoff Organize electronic project files and maintain accurate records Identify opportunities to improve permitting, documentation, and compliance processes Qualifications Experience in project coordination, permitting, compliance, contract administration, construction administration, project administration, or a related administrative role Experience coordinating permits, licenses, compliance documentation, or project records Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word Experience reviewing contracts, legal documents, or insurance documentation is a plus Experience working with municipalities, government agencies, contractors, or construction projects is preferred Why Apply?
